The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, demons, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to embark on their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to travel to the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which players will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
